Fuel pump and sender wiring, early X400
Tank-module pin-out, relay location, chafe point above the rear axle.
The tank module connector is reached from under the rear seat. Power, earth, sender and the pump motor share that plug. The common chafe is the loom clipped above the rear axle beam — look for green powder on a bare copper edge.
Pump relay is in the cabin box (see A-059, fuel-pump fuse F81). A pump that runs with a fused jumper at the tank but not from the key is the relay or that chafe, not the pump.
