Instrument Cluster
Battery off, column fully down and out, vent trim, surround screws, then the cluster. Sealed unit; a replacement needs coding.
Removal
Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Drop the steering column fully and extend it all the way out. Prise the instrument and vent trim rearwards off its clips. Undo the surround screws and take the surround off. Undo the cluster screws, unclip the harnesses, and unplug as the panel comes free.
What You Can Service
Illumination and tell-tales are integral LEDs. The cluster is treated as a sealed unit; individual gauges are not a DIY parts-bin job. Fault finding needs a dealer or specialist scanner.
Refit
Plug every connector home, clip the looms, reverse the trim order, reconnect the battery, and confirm the warning lamps self-test. A brand-new cluster must be coded to the car before it will behave; that is dealer or specialist equipment work.
