Fuel Filler Flap Release Cable
Sill trim, load-side trim, twist the collar in the flap aperture, free the latch and spring, then the floor handle bolts and the clipped run.
Access
Pull the door sill trim upward to free its clips. Remove the drivers-side luggage compartment side trim so you can see the cable run.
Latch End
At the filler flap aperture, rotate the cable collar until the latch mechanism pulls free (workshop figure captions disagree on clockwise versus anti-clockwise; turn only until the latch releases, do not force it). Slide the sleeve off the cable, detach the latch from the inner cable, and recover the spring.
Handle End And Cable
Pull the carpet back and undo the bolts that hold the release handle to the floor. Detach the inner and outer cables from the handle. Feed the cable back through the hole in the flap aperture, note the route, free the retaining clips, and remove the cable.
Refit on the same path. Prove the flap opens from the cabin handle before any trim goes back on.
