2001: launch, petrol V6 only, saloon. 2.5 and 3.0 AWD, 2.1 (sold as 2.0 V6 in some markets) FWD.
2003: 2.0d and later 2.2d. Estate (Sportwagon) follows.
2004/05 facelift: new bumper and lights, revised cabin fuse layout, optional diesel automatic.
Trims wander by market. Sport is the firm suspension and mesh. SE / Sovereign add wood and the quieter exhaust. Sport Premium is the late run with the better seats. Always confirm by VIN, not the boot badge.
