Timing belt and water pump on the 2.0d and 2.2d
The revised interval, the tensioner supersession, and why the pump comes off with the belt.
Interval is 100,000 miles or ten years, whichever first. The tensioner has a supersession — order the later number. The water pump is driven by the belt. Leave it and the weep starts six months later, belt off again.
Lock the flywheel and the cam. The diesel is an interference engine. A slipped belt folds valves. If the belt is original and the car is past the date, do not drive it to the shop on a prayer; trailer it.
